About The Mother’s Day 5K & 10K
This fun race is a great event for all kinds of runners. For families, you can make great memories with Mom and maybe even start a new Mother’s Day tradition.
This is the last race in the Milwaukee Spring Running Series, so don’t miss it! Runners have already completed the Milwaukee St. Paddy’s Day 5K and the Brew City Half Marathon, 10K & 5K weekends.
Every finisher at the Mother’s Day 5K & 10K will receive a rose. What a great way to celebrate a special day! And for a post-finish treat, enjoy chocolate cake pops at the finish line.
And the proceeds from this race benefit a great cause. The race charity is the Wisconsin Ovarian Cancer Alliance.
You can run the 5K either with or without a chip timer. The cost is $37 until May 8, when the price will increase to $50. The 10K costs $45 until May 8, when it will increase to $60.
When it’s getting close to race time, the easiest way to get your packet will be at packet pick up on Thursday, May 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Get your packet at Shred415 East Side at 2165 N. Prospect Avenue.
You can also pick up your packet on race day between 7:10 and 8 a.m. The kids dash will start at 8:15 a.m., and the 5K/10K will start at 8:30 a.m. Winner medals will be awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers in each age group and overall for the 5K and 10K.
