Gobble Up These Candy Corn-Filled Desserts

Colorful Candy Corn

Candy corns are an interesting treat. Some people dislike them, but others can’t get enough of them. If you are in the latter category, you may buy them in bulk around Halloween. However, you can do much more than just eat these treats right out of the bag. There are some creative recipes at your disposal to enjoy candy corns in different ways. As a result, you and other candy corn lovers in your home will enjoy them even more.

Candy Corn Ghost Cupcakes

Creating treats out of candy corns doesn’t have to be complicated to be delicious and fun. For example, you can combine them with other yummy desserts and use the candies as a supplement or decoration. You can also make treats that look like candy corns. Simply mix up your favorite cupcakes — any type of cake will do — and generously spread on the frosting. Use orange and yellow, followed by white for the top to mimic the ghost and the color pattern of candy corns. In addition, find some googly eyes for the ghost’s eyes. Serve the cupcakes with — what else? — candy corns.

Monster Munch

When you want a sweet concoction of candy corns and other favorites with different flavors, this is the one to go with. Here are the ingredients:

  • 3 cups kettle corn
  • 2 cups pretzels
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips, melted
  • ½ cup candy corn
  • ½ cup yellow, orange, and chocolate M&Ms
  • 2 teaspoons Halloween-colored sprinkles

Firstly, take a cookie sheet and line it with parchment paper. Place a single layer of kettle corn and then mix in the pretzels. In a saucepan, melt the chocolate and put it in a piping bag. Drizzle the chocolate over the kettle corn and pretzels. Over this mixture, place the candy corn and M&M’s. Next, drizzle the white chocolate over it. Then, put on the sprinkles and place in the fridge for about 20 minutes. Most importantly, enjoy!

Halloween Harvest Hash Chex Mix

You’re familiar with Chex Mix; however, have you tried this type? If you love candy corns, this recipe is a must. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • ¾ cup melted butter
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1 box Rice Chex
  • 1 bag Bugles
  • 4 cups pretzels
  • 1 heaping cup candy corns
  • 1 heaping cup candy corn pumpkins
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla
  • 1 bag Reese’s pieces

First, preheat the oven to 275 degrees. Melt the butter in the microwave. Add the brown sugar and vanilla; whisk until the sugar is dissolved and the other ingredients are well combined. Grab a large bowl and put in the Chex, pretzels, and Bugles. Put the sauce in the bowl and evenly coat the mixture. Toss it to ensure it is coated well. Then, put parchment paper on two cookie sheets. Evenly divide the mixture on the paper and bake for 45 minutes. Be sure to stir it every 15 minutes. When finished, let it cool, and then add it to a large bowl with the candy.
